About Órla Price

Hello I'm Órla and I don't want to write about myself in the third person. I am a trainee art psychotherapist. I try a lot more things than the free image limit on this website can demonstrate, I also make portraits, wordless stories, jewellery, shadow puppets, murals, burn wood and get overwhelmed due to the fact I reckon I need at least one other lifetime to learn and do and make all the things my scatty brain wants. I have an Instagram at @orlas_art_insta. I'd love to make an illustrated poetry book, graphic novel and wordless novel but I need to get very distracted first by something new.

I am passionate about community engagement and collaboration. I have lots of experience facilitating workshops with a diverse range of groups and in different settings (education, social care, homelessness). I also have a personal interest in the therapeutic potentials of narrative/story-telling artistic practises and am interested in developing community and collaborative efforts in this area. I am generally interested in the mental health benefits of creative communities and having accessible arts spaces.
